F.A.Q.

Q) How do I take a screenshot?

A) Hit the 'print screen' button, then open Paint/Paintbrush. Right-click and select paste, the screenshot will appear on the screen. Save the file, then e-mail it to admin.solus@gmail.com along with the time of your death (as shown on the website).

Reboots

Q) What is a reboot?

A) A reboot is when the server restarts. There are two kinds, a normal reboot, and a system reboot.

Q) How long will the server be down for a reboot?

A) A normal reboot takes 10 seconds to 3 minutes. A system reboot takes 3 minutes to 10 minutes.

Q) Do I need to logoff before a reboot?

A) Nope. The only thing you need to do is get somewhere safe, so you don't logon to a group of bloodthirsty creatures.

Q) Will I lose anything in a reboot?

A) All items on your character, in your depot, or in your house will still be there. Any items laying around on the ground will disappear, as well as any corpses and loot on the ground.

Staff

Q) Are you hiring Gamemasters, Tutors, or Counsellers?

A) If we are, we will contact you. If you want to be one of these positions, be helpful and devoted. Don't ask.

Debugs

Q) What is a debug?

A) A debug is when the client displays an error message then crashes.

Q) What should I do if I've recieved a debug?

A) It's important that you immediately TAKE A SCREENSHOT and send it to admin.solus@gmail.com. I will be able to restore you if you send me that screenshot along with the time of your death (as shown on the website).

Debug rules:
1) You are not allowed to gain more than 3 levels since your death before you speak to a GM. If you gain more than 3 levels, you can't be restored. You may ignore the debug and continue leveling if you believe it would be faster.
2) You will not be restored more than 2 times per week if you die from debugs.

Tips to avoid debugs:
* Some bots can cause debugs. Hacks such as "X-RAY" and monster/character information (show health and vocation) are easily able to cause additional debugs.
* Areas with too many monsters can also cause debugs, if you find one that causes debugs for you, mention it to a GM. If you have already received 2 restores for a week, avoid areas with lots of monsters.
* Don't go places where other people have frequently reported getting debugs.
* Rapidly going up and down with a bot enabled or with summons following you could cause debugs.
