Phoenix - Players online (-1):

SolusOT features a few specialties with weapons.

* Two-handed weapons have two tiles of range, instead of one. Skilled players are actually able to run monsters without getting hit making proper use of two-handed weapon distance. This technique is especially useful for samurai.

* Exotic weapons are a special type of weapon that use your best weapon skill, if you have 90 sword, then an exotic weapon will act as if you have 90 skill when using it. A few examples of an exotic weapon: shovel, obsidian knife, avenger

* Wands and rods are usable by all mages, and have an increased range of 5 tiles. All wands and rods are also affected by magic level of varying degrees, causing your wand to increase in power along with you.

* Most one and two-handed distance weapons do not require ammunition, with the exception of bow and crossbow type weapons. Other weapons, such as spears, throwing stars, and throwing knives never run out. This is highly useful for paladins with limited capacity.

* Two-handed distance weapons that require ammunition, such as bows and crossbows, become more powerful as you gain higher levels. Stronger versions of these weapons also add even more power, such as the arbalest, the composite bow, and the golden bow.
